India Women vs Zimbabwe Women: India Eye Clean Sweep in Final ODI

Having already secured the ODI series, India Women could make changes to their playing XI as they target a 3-0 series victory against Zimbabwe.
India may have already secured the series and a much-needed break is calling-out for the women in blue before they start their next international assignment, but there is still one more one-day international game to be played before the curtains come on the series and a historic tour for the Zimbabwe women to India.
The hosts, India, have already registered two massive wins, and they now have every reason to experiment and test their bench strength for the final ODI without any fear. After a break for a couple of days, and visits to the local cafes and visiting some of the local friends in Vadodara, the Indian team hit the nets for a full training session in the hot sun. The local Baroda girl Yastika Bhatia who is yet to feature in the playing XI so far in the series is expected to finally take the field.
Former India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who has been battling with fever, also came out for the practice session and was seen hitting big shots down the ground. Although, team India may have the series in the bag, the team management may be worried about their bowling attack and would look to tighten the screws in that department, especially with the inability to pick wickets at regular wickets, which may other pose a big threat against more established and challenging teams like Australia, England, South Africa.
If team India look to manage the workload of the pacers, Nandini Sharma may get a nod to get her India cap and play in the final ODI. With a long, multi-format tour of South Africa coming in December, India will want to get all the last minute trials out of the way here. The visiting team, on the other hand, took the opportunity to visit the Statue of Unity during the break between games, which is located around 90 km away from Vadodara.
The Women from Africa now have their task cut out and look to come out all guns blazing in the final ODI and secure a win to salvage their pride. The lady chevrons will look to play the entire fifty overs first, which they have failed to do so in the first two games and also look to tick the ‘score at least 230-250’ runs box and end their tour to India on a high.
