Liverpool has signed the Spanish midfielder Natalia Ramos from CD Tenerife Femenino, provided she gets visa approval and international clearance.
The 27-year-old Ramos becomes the Reds’ sixth signing of the summer after she completed a permanent move from the Liga F club. The Spanish player has appeared for more than 200 matches at Tenerife, including 30 matches in Spain’s top flight last season where she scored 10 goals and provided five assists.
Speaking of the signing, Ramos said, “I am really, really happy. I am very excited to achieve this new step in my life and I am very grateful for this new opportunity. For me it was a very easy decision and I am very, very happy with a lot of feeling and emotion because I know who the club is, the respect it is. I feel very happy and privileged to take this shirt and sign at the club.”
Ramos has played for Span at the Under-17 and Under-19 level and she was also part of the squad that won the 2017 Women’s European Under-19 Championship in Northern Ireland.
She follows Vivien Endermann, Sara Agrez, Mao Itamura, Khiara Keating and Mari Ward in joining Liverpool this summer.
